The next UCS Mental Health First Aid Training will be held on January 15 and 16 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Mental illness will affect many of our friends, neighbors, and loved ones at some point in their lives. If faced with someone in a mental health crisis, would you know what to do? Mental Health First Aid is an internationally accepted program aimed at educating the public on how to respond when someone is in a mental health crisis.
Presenters are Nancy Bemis and Dora Cecchini, UCS’ certified Mental Health First Aid trainers. Dora is also trained in Youth MHFA.
Training will be held at UCS, 100 Ledge Hill Drive, Bennington, Vermont. The program costs $50 (includes training book and light breakfast). To register, contact Nancy Bemis at NBemis@UCSVT.org or 802-362-3950.
