Latest News

United Counseling Service’s (UCS) Children, Youth and Family Services (CYFS) division launched a Community Behavioral Support (CBS) program on April 15 for children and young adults up to 22 years old in Bennington County experiencing behavioral and emotional challenges. The program is available from 8am-5pm Monday and can be accessed by calling 802-442-1700.

The goal of this new program is to build on CYFS’ existing services for young children through young adults, which include transitional age youth programs, as well as other community and school based programs. CBS program staff will respond to calls from and provide support in the community and directly in local schools. The program is designed to respond to lower intensity behavioral and emotional challenges. Referral to UCS Emergency services is available if needed.
