Manchester Organizations Support Those in Need This Holiday Season
Manchester Knights of Columbus & The Manchester Country Club Make Donations to United Counseling Service for Northshire Families.
Manchester, Vt. — Two Manchester organizations showed their holiday spirit this year by giving back to those in need. The Manchester Knights of Columbus and the Manchester County Club each made charitable donations to the Northshire United Counseling Service office to lend a helping hand and some holiday cheer to those that need it most.
The Knights of Columbus donated Christmas “baskets,” filled with food, for a cheerful holiday dinner. The main course Christmas ham included all the fixings for a great meal. Each year the Knights donate Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets to help Northshire families.
Similarly, the Manchester County Club made a financial donation to help provide Christmas gifts for families in need in the Northshire. The donation was organized and delivered on behalf of the country club by General Manager Bill Burke.
“There’s no better recognition of the holiday spirit then helping those in need. The Knights of Columbus and the Manchester Country Club deserve special recognition for their generosity and I offer my thanks on behalf of UCS and the people we help,” said Executive Director Ralph Provenza.
UCS serves children, adults, families, and seniors through nationally recognized counseling, early care and education, and clinical support. Visit www.ucsvt.org to find out more.
