United Counseling Service’s Big Brother Big Sister Program is looking for mentors. Being a Big Brother or Big Sister is one of the most enjoyable things you’ll ever do. Not to mention, one of the most fulfilling. You have the opportunity to help shape a child’s future for the better by empowering him or her to achieve. And the best part is, it’s actually a lot of fun. You and your “Little” can share the kinds of activities you already like to do.
“Being a Big Sister is a wonderful experience. My Little Sister and I have so much fun together from working on a garden to being in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Our area of Vermont is facing difficult times and one of the best ways to improve our community is to invest in its future, our children. ” says Retha Charette, Big Sister and BBBS Coordinator.
Volunteering just a few hours a month with a child can start something amazing. There are kids out there ready and waiting to get started. Please give us a call and learn about our Big Brothers Big Sister Program.
