February 19, 2025 United Counseling Service (UCS) welcomes Jenna Struble as Director of Children, Youth and Family Services (CYFS): Latest News UCS is pleased to welcome Jenna Struble as its new Director of Children, Youth and Family Services (CYFS). In this role she will oversee home- and community-based treatment programs that support children, adolescents, and their families. Struble brings extensive experience in youth-focused programming, staff development and organizational leadership. She previously oversaw teen programs at the YMCA in Dallas, Texas, serving 19 communities and 22 school systems. “I’m very proud to be joining the exceptional team of professionals at UCS in service to our young people and families across Bennington County,” said Struble. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with public and private organizations, ensuring compliance, managing budgets, maintaining program data, fundraising grant writing, and shaping policy and advocacy efforts. Most recently she served as Executive Director at the New England Center for Circus Arts in Brattleboro, Vermont. “We are thrilled to have Jenna join our leadership team,” said Lorna Mattern, Chief Executive Officer of UCS. “Her experience, fresh perspectives and dynamic energy will strengthen our programs and further enhance our impact in the community.” United Counseling Service (UCS) is a private, non-profit community mental health center that has been an essential part of Bennington County’s integrated healthcare system since 1958. The organization has been designated as a Center of Excellence by Vermont Care Partners. UCS promotes healthy lifestyles through all its programs and offers care at 17 different facilities, including two primary outpatient facilities in Bennington and Manchester. UCS provides outpatient counseling and addiction services, emergency mental health services, extensive rehabilitation services, home and school-based services, employment services for people recovering from mental illness or with developmental disabilities, and early childhood services.
