Ryan Lane

Ryan Lane, M.A., brings 22 years of experience working in the mental health field to his role as Director of Children, Youth and Family Services (CYFS) at United Counseling Service. Ryan oversees all services offered provided by CYFS, including general services such as Family Emergency Services (FES), Psychiatric Urgent Care for Kids (PUCK), community-based services, transitional age youth programs, and summer programs.

Ryan previously worked as a clinician at the Howard Center in Burlington, VT, where he provided psychological support to individual adults, children, and families. Prior to his clinical work at the Howard Center, he held leadership positions at the Vermont Department of Health, Alcohol, and Drug Abuse Programs as Director of Clinical Services, as well as Substance Use Program Manager. Ryan also taught psychology courses as a faculty member at both Burlington College and Southern New Hampshire University.

Ryan earned a Master of Arts in Contemplative Psychotherapy from Naropa University in Boulder, CO, and is proficient in trauma-informed substance abuse treatment.
