Community Rehabilitation &
Emergency Services

UCS provides quality, comprehensive psychiatric rehabilitation services to adults with long-term mental illness. Our goal is to empower the individual to maximize his or her potential. We accomplish this with case management, treatment, education, vocational counseling, and support in an environment of hope and optimism.

Peer to Peer Support Groups

Peer support is the help and support that people with lived experience of a mental illness are able to give on another. Community Rehabilitation  and treatment offers many peer to peer support groups.

Groups Include:

The Talk Group
Peer Support
National Alliance on Mental Health (NAMI) Group
Hot Topix
Sunshine Social Club

Batelle House

A reliable alternative to hospital care, Battelle House provides crisis stabilization in a home-like setting. We believe a person holds the key to his or her recovery. We provide the supportive partnership. We focus on safety, provide support for co-occurring disorders, and believe that listening is an important part of recovery.

South Street

The South Street Group Home provides residents the support, skill training, and counseling they need to live independently in the community. The program provides both a group living program for close support and monitoring and a supervised apartment program, offering professional assistance in learning independent living skills. For more information or to obtain service and schedule an appointment, contact UCS and ask for Community Rehabilitation and Emergency Services.
