October 17, 2025 UCS increases availability of Same Day Access program Latest News United Counseling Service (UCS) expands availability of its Same Day Access (SDA) program starting Monday, October 20, 2025, to include Mondays, from 8am-5pm, with the last appointment starting at 3pm, at the agency’s 100 Ledge Hill Drive location in Bennington, its Manchester location at 4312 Main Street, and by phone at 802-442-5491. SDA offers same day access to assessments, support, and interventions, offering timely care without the need for a scheduled appointment. SDA is also available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Residents of Bennington County in need of mental health care or substance use services, including adults, adolescents, and children, are eligible to access services through UCS’ SDA program. Adults and adolescents residing in Vermont seeking substance use services are also eligible.
