DESCRIPTION:United Counseling Service (UCS)  invites Bennington area youth ages 13-18 to its annual Bennington Youth Summit on March 25\, 2023\, from 9am-2pm at Second Congregational Church! The day will be packed with games\, breakout groups\, and featured speakers from the community—all made possible by the Phillips Family Foundation and in partnership with Alliance for Community Transformations (ACT)\, Turning Point Recovery Center of Bennington\, VT\, and The Collaborative. SUMMARY:Adult Mental Health First Aid Training
DESCRIPTION:Join the more than 2.6 million First Aiders who have chosen to be the difference in their community. Learn how to support your friends\, family\, and neighbors. Adult Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) teaches you how to identify\, understand\, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among adults. You’ll build skills and confidence you need to reach out and provide initial support to those who are struggling. You’ll also learn how to help connect them to appropriate support. \nTuesday\, March 28th from 8:30am to 3pm via Zoom. \n$55 per person\, with financial assistance available.
