Clients of UCS’ Developmental Services division will host the event\, and other local crafters\, artists\, and makers in the community are invited to attend as vendors. \nShoppers can stop by the craft fair at 601 Main Street from 9am-3pm to find handcrafted wares of all kinds\, as well as baked goods and raffle items. All proceeds directly benefit the Developmental Services Connections program at UCS\, which supports individuals with disabilities to achieve and maintain employment and build important skills for the workplace. \nLocal vendors are invited to attend and pay a $25 table fee. DESCRIPTION:Online registration is now closed. Thank you for another great Superhero 5K! \nBe a Superhero! Join us on for the 6th annual UCS Superhero 5K and Kids’ Dash. Run\, walk or roll on this 3.1 mile course that takes you through beautiful downtown Bennington. Costumes are encouraged and there will be prizes for top finishers and best costumes. \nThe Superhero 5K and Kids’ Dash will take place on Saturday\, November 4\, beginning at 9am. The course begins and ends at the Bennington Community Center at 655 Gage Street. The Kids’ Dash will take place immediately after\, an adorable event you don’t want to miss. \nProceeds from this year’s race with benefit UCS’ Teens4Change group. T4C is a peer-led group that gives young people the opportunity to interact with each other and build community connections while learning important social-emotional and leadership skills. \nRegistration is $35 for adults\, $20 for students\, free for the first 100 UCS clients and for all kids under 12 years old. DESCRIPTION:The Psychiatric Urgent Care for Kids (PUCK) program would like to invite community members and families to join us for an open house at the Children\, Youth and Family Services building at 314 Dewey S\, Bennington\, VT 05201 on May 11th\, from 4pm to 6pm. PUCK helps youth in Bennington County who are experiencing a mental health or behavioral crisis by providing mental health screenings and assessments\, access to skills for regulating emotions and behaviors\, recommendations for follow up care in the home and at school\, psychiatric medication consultation\, and referral for mental health and family services. \n  \nStop by\, tour the facility\, meet our staff and learn how our program can support YOU.
