DESCRIPTION:Join our free virtual information session to discover how you can make a meaningful difference by opening your home to an adult with developmental disabilities. \nRSVP for the event at this link. \nShared living Providers (SLP) are contracted home providers who work with UCS to provide support and caring\, stable homes for adults with developmental disabilities as they navigate their independent living journeys. Providers earn monthly tax-free income and room and board payments for each individual in their care. The UCS Shared Living Program seeks individuals\, couples and families who reside in Bennington County\, or in nearby towns in New York and Massachusetts\, to provide caring homes\, or be a roommate\, for individuals with developmental disabilities. \nDuring this information session\, you will: \n\nLearn how the Shared Living Program works\nHear firsthand from a current Shared Living Provider\nGet answers to you questions from our team\nExplore the support\, training\, and benefits available\, including room and board and a tax-free stipend\n\nAugust 19\, 6:30-7:30PM virtual via Microsoft Teams. \nRSVP for the event at this link. \nLearn more about our Shared Living Program
