UCS welcomes Outpatient Clinician Jacquelynn Gomez of Iris Telehealth

United Counseling Service (UCS) is excited to welcome Clinician Jacquelynn Gomez of Iris Telehealth to its Outpatient Mental Health team to help the agency meet the growing need for mental health services in Bennington County. Jacquelynn is a licensed professional counselor holding a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University in Beaumont, TX, who brings a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to behavioral health care.

Jacquelynn is experienced in providing counseling services for youth and adults and supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, substance use challenges, and life transitions. She draws from evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and solution-focused techniques to meet each person where they are on their journey to mental well-being. Jacquelynn also looks forward to offering eye movement desensitization (EMDR) and reprocessing therapy, which aims to promote healing from trauma.

“I hope that I can do my part and contribute to UCS and really help people out,” says Jacquelynn. “That’s what I’m here for.”

UCS’ new partnership with Iris Telehealth aims to meet the growing need for mental health services across Bennington County by expanding access to care through teletherapy, or virtual therapy conducted through secure video sessions.

Individuals seeking services may call or come in without an appointment on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, from 8am-5pm, with the last appointment commencing at 3pm, and Wednesday, from 12-7pm, with the last appointment commencing at 4:30pm. Virtual options are available.
