Manchester, Vt. — A financial donation from the Manchester Country Club to the Northshire United Counseling Service office will help families in need have a brighter holiday season this year. The donation, raised by members of country club, will financially assist four families receiving services from UCS.

“We want to thank the membership of the Manchester Country Club for supporting the people we help in the Northshire,” said UCS Northshire Director Peg Gregory. “For the fifth year in a row, the country club has donated during the holiday season to support those in need and their generosity is deeply appreciated.”

Widely recognized as one of the most beautiful golf courses nestled in the Green Mountains of Southern Vermont, the Manchester Country Club first opened for play in 1970. The club offers a mission statement that includes being inclusive, acting with integrity and respect, providing youth golfers the ability to develop, embracing their club heritage, and being caretakers of the club for future generations.

Northshire UCS serves children, adults, families, and seniors through nationally recognized counseling, early care and education, and clinical support. Visit to find out more.
