Shires of Vermont Marathon
Back by popular demand, the Shires of Vermont Marathon is coming to Bennington County again on Sunday, May 19. UCS and the Battenkill Valley Runners are teaming up on this event, with all proceeds to benefit UCS programs for children and families.

The 26.2 mile marathon starts at the Bennington Center for the Arts and finishes at Hildene Meadows, passing through some of the most scenic countryside of any marathon. Visit www.ShiresOfVermontMarathon.com for more information.

5K Fun Run

A 5k fun run/walk for people of all ages and abilities in Bennington to benefit the CRT Peer Support Group.

Help reduce the solitude of mental illness by raising funds for the Peer Support Program!

  • Course runs through historic Old Bennington.
  • 9am Start
  • $15 before 6/19, $20 Race Day
  • Free GO THE DISTANCE
