Position: RESIDENTIAL SUPPORT PROVIDER
Availability: Part time, 2nd Shift & Third
Description: Candidate must demonstrate ability to assist with activities of daily living, self care, money management, dining, problem solving, interpersonal skills, leisure time, independent living and community integration for adults with developmental disabilities living in group homes. Will serve as advocate for individual. Helps with the preparation of meals and housekeeping tasks. Every other weekend and holidays required.
Prerequisites: HSD or GED, valid drivers license. Experience a plus.

Position: ASSISTANT TEACHER
Availability: 25 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:30 - 2:30
Description: Under the direction of the lead teacher and/or the center manager, the assistant teacher will be responsible for assisting with the general supervision and management of 12-14 children between the ages of six weeks and four years. Helps to plan and implement center program in accordance with policies and philosophy. Creates and maintains an atmosphere in which children and their parents feel welcome, valued, and secure. Ensures the safety of children at all times. Adheres to all regulations regarding physical safety, evacuation procedures, fire drills, etc. Must be knowledgeable of VT Child Care Licensing regulations.
Prerequisites: High school diploma or equivalent. Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Early Childhood Development preferred. Experience preferred.

Position: SUPPORTED INDEPENDENT LIVING PROVIDER
Availability: Full time, (40 hrs.) benefit eligible
Description: SILP works to support, encourage, and teach independence in all areas of daily life to adults with a developmental disability, who live independently in the community. Schedule will vary (8am – 4 pm & 12 – 8 pm), every other weekend, flexibility is a must.

Position: PSYCHIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONER
Availability: Full-Time (40 hours), benefit eligible.
Description: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner vacancy at United Counseling Service, in our progressive community mental health center located in Bennington, Vermont. UCS is a comprehensive behavioral and developmental system of care including education, prevention, early intervention, support and treatment of children, adults and families in our community. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides services in an all outpatient setting to a predominantly adult population, with some adolescent treatment. Regular hours, Monday through Friday, 8am – 5pm, with an attractive salary and extensive benefits package. No inpatient services or after hour calls. Qualifications include MA level APRN, ARNP or RN-CS with psychiatric experience and/or specialty. DEA and VT License required. The town of Bennington is home to many regional outdoor venues and less than a one hour drive to several Vermont ski areas, Albany, NY and Stockbridge, MA.

Position: EMERGENCY CLINICIAN
Availability: Full time (32 hours), benefit eligible
Description: Provides assessment and counseling to individuals and families with mental health and/or substance abuse problems. Services may include individual, family, group and relationship counseling. Coordinate services with other agencies and providers. Facilitates appropriate referrals for other services when necessary. Provides emergency assessments at SVHC ER and other locations in the community.
Prerequisites: MA in Psychology, Social Work or other related counseling field. Experience preferred. Licensure or on-track for licensure, QMHP qualified.

Position: CRISIS RECOVERY SPECIALIST
Availability: Full time (32 hours), benefit eligible.
Description: Providing case management, skill development, assistance in obtaining income support and entitlements, coordination and collaboration with peer support services, participation in the day to day program activities and coordinating with post-acute crisis recovery services in the home environment as well as accompanying Crisis Worker in community settings.
Prerequisites: BA degree and experience required. Licensure or on-track for licensure, QMHP qualified.

Position: CRES CLINICIAN
Availability: Full time (40 hours), benefit eligible
Description: Under the direction of the Clinical & Emergency Services Manager, the CRES Clinician provides a wide variety of clinical services to persons served, including clinical case management services, support, rehabilitative skill building, therapy and advocacy in accordance with the Principles of Psychiatric, Psychosocial and Vocational Rehabilitation.
Prerequisites: A minimum of a MA in Social Work, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counseling, Psychiatric Nursing, or related field. Additionally, specialty positions require the clinician be credentialed (or work towards credentialing) in their field of specialty.

Position: THERAPEUTIC CASE MANAGER

Description: The therapeutic case manager offers children and adolescents who have a severe emotional disturbance, opportunities to grow toward optimally independent functioning in all areas of their lives. Will provide direct counseling, case management, and crises intervention services to clients, foster or natural parents served in the program.
Prerequisites: A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field required, MA preferred. Experience working with children and families as well as a clean valid driver’s license are required.

Position: FAMILY SERVICES CASE MANAGER
Availability: Full time, 40 hrs, M-F with some flexibility
Description: The Family Services Case Manager organizes, develops, implements, coordinates, supervises and monitors the provision of services to adults and children with developmental disabilities for a designated caseload.
Prerequisites: Computer literate, including windows, email, excel and good typing skills. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Knowledge of local supervisory unions and schools a plus. Previous case mgmt. experience and experience working with kids and families preferred. Clean, valid driver’s license required. Ability to be flexible in hours
